Woman and Dog Saved in Quarry Rescue
At 9:50am on Tuesday 19th January, Mt Eliza Fire Brigade was responded to a person and dog stuck on a ledge in Moorooduc Quarry. On arrival they were located on a ledge approximately 20m down the cliff. Dandenong Fire Brigade’s high angle rope rescue team was responded and along with assistance from Frankston SES, Frankston CFA, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria both woman and dog were winched to safety.
