Tree Crushes Car on Nepean Highway
On Tuesday 12th July 2016, Mt Eliza Fire Brigade responded to reports of a tree down Northbound on Nepean highway, south of Tower Rd as wild weather lashed the Mornington Peninsula.
It was a lucky escape for one women who’s had the rear of her car crushed by one of the fallen trees.
It took roughly 2 hours for Police, volunteers from Mt Eliza Fire Brigade and Mornington Peninsula Shire Council to clear the highway.
Seconds after leaving the scene, we were called to a Fire Alarm Operating within Mt Eliza.
