Reminder: You are NOT allowed to burn off during the Fire Danger Period
We’d just like to inform everyone that we are still within the Fire Danger Period. This means, you are NOT allowed to burn off in the open air without a permit.
The Fire Danger Period Is No Longer enforced for the 2017/2018 Fire Season The Fire Danger Period Ended on 01/05/2018. Please abide by council by laws before burning off.
Over the weekend, we responded to numerous callouts with residents burning off during the FDP. In addition, we also received several phone calls from residents asking if they can burn off.
The Fire Danger Period will end on 1st May 2018 (unless extended).
