Scrub Fire at Daveys Bay Beach

On Thursday 4th February, Mt Eliza Fire Brigade attended a small grass fire on the cliff of Daveys Bay Beach. CFA crews from Mt Eliza and Frankston Fire Brigades were able to bring the fire under control quickly thanks to milder weather conditions.

On Wednesday 16th December at 3.55pm, the Brigade responded to a bush fire near Wooralla Drive and Maughan Road. On arrival, support from Baxter, Moorooduc and Mornington Fire Brigades was immediately requested.

Fire Ready Victoria Meeting and Open Day – Sunday 29th November 2015

Mt Eliza Fire Brigade will be holding an Open Day on Sunday, November 29. Whilst we are always open, this is an excellent opportunity for all our community to come and see what our volunteers actually do. We will have numerous displays running, demonstrating the importance of fire safety in the home. There will also be plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy, as well as a sausage sizzle for all attending.
