Busy Start to 2017 for Mt Eliza Fire Brigade – Mt Eliza Fire Brigade
February 3, 2017at 7:24 pm
[…] 25th January, we were called to support Frankston for a Tree and scrub fire on Olivers Hill with additional support from Langwarrin Fire Brigade, Baxter Fire Brigade and air (helicopter) […]
I couldn’t make the meeting on Saturday but would like some information anout the proposed burn as we live in Maughan Road and my wife is a severe asthmatic
The information sessions was an opportunity for the community to ask questions about the planned fuel reduction burn that is planned for this autumn.
Those on Maughan Road will be notified of the burn date by mail at least 1 week prior to the burn date, and will be door-knocked the day of the burn. It is important to note that the fuel reduction burn is also not guaranteed to go ahead on this day as there are a number of criteria that needs to be met on the day.

My children, husband and I undertook a bake sale for Bushfire Relief and wish to donate 1/3 of our takings to our local CFA. We will be donating the remainder to wildlife victoria and the fire authority in Eden, NSW. We are all very grateful for the work that you undertake.
