CFA – Secretary Opportunity

We are looking for a Secretary. The role is responsible for the secretarial function of the brigade and responsible for management of brigade administration and correspondence matters.
You will have demonstrated experience in an administrative role. Ideally you’ll live in the local community of Mount Eliza.
The Mount Eliza Fire Brigade Mission is to protect lives and property and
the focus is on supporting our members who are delivering services to the community with a variety of roles and functions in areas outside traditional firefighting.

Time Required
The Brigade meets for training on a Tuesday evening and maintenance duties on a Sunday morning.
The time required to complete required tasks varies from 2 – 6 hours a week. The Secretary is required to attend the brigade approximately 2 hrs on a Tuesday evening and be available for as many Sunday mornings as possible. The periods where additional time is required varies and is flexible.
Training
You don’t need experience to join the CFA as they will provide you with all the necessary training. The training is aligned with National Competency Standards so your new skills will be recognised throughout Australia.
