Celebrating Mornington Fire Brigade 100th Year
This year marks Mornington Fire Brigade’s 100th year, and to celebrate, the brigade is conducting a number of events throughout. Mornington Fire Brigade is one of 3 primary fire brigades that support the community of Mount Eliza, and we are proud to be a part of celebrating their 100 years in service.
Australia Day 2017 Torchlight Parade
Mt Eliza Fire Brigade is proud to be a part of Mornington Fire Brigade’s Torchlight Parade, to help celebrate 100 years of service to Mornington and the surrounding community. We have serveral members participating in the march starting from Main Street Mornington and finishing at Mornington Pier.
What: Australian Day Parade from Main Street to Mornington Pier. Includes Fire Museum, Flag Raising Ceremony, Fire Drill Demonstration, Torchlight Procession

Brigade 100 Years Open Day
What: Mornington Fire Brigade will be holding an open day at the fire station to allow the community to engage with brigade members, tour the fire station, inspect the historic fire museum fire trucks and current brigade appliances and equipment, view special fire brigade memorabilia and purchase the brigade 100 year book and other merchandise.

Brigade 100 Years Community Cocktail Party
What: Cocktail Party celebrating the brigade 100th year which will include food, beverages, live entertainment, displays, prizes and stories about members and the community over the last 100 years of service.
When: 25th March 2017
Where: Mornington Fire Station
Cost: $75 per head
