Junior Camp 2018 – Supporting Kids With Cancer
Mt Eliza Fire Brigade attended the annual Junior Camp, located at Camp Manyung in Mt Eliza.
The annual event, which the Brigade has supported over a number of years provides kids with an enjoyable camp – dressing up as their favourite super hero’s and showing off their skills to help the local police to fight crime and the fire brigade to put out fires!
From Spiderman to Wonder Woman, we were in the company of some of the world’s most powerful and courageous characters. Setting the world alight with their fierce strength and enormous power, this was undoubtedly the highlight of the entire weekend!
For many of these kids, this camp was a significant milestone in their lives as it marked their first time away from home. Though some were perhaps a little apprehensive at the start, it didn’t take long for those nerves to subside and once the fun all started to kick off, there was no looking back.
