Junior & Senior Brigades attend Bangholme Training Ground
Last week both junior and senior volunteers from Mt Eliza Fire Brigade attended a training night at VEMTC Bangholme Training Campus.
Brigade members practised their fireman ship and performed skills maintenance over a number of drills with active fire, including:
- Simulated Car & House Fire
- Dumpster Fire
- Car into structure fire
- Search & Rescue
Our junior brigade, who are between the ages of 11-16 had the opportunity to experienced live fire in a safe, controlled and simulated flammable liquid fire drill. Afterwards they enjoyed watching and learning from senior brigade members running a simulated house fire and dumpster fire.
