Today (25th December 2017) at 1.30pm as most of our volunteers were sitting down to Christmas Lunch, we received a call out to a car accident with persons reported to be trapped on Eumeralla Grove in Mt Eliza.
Mt Eliza Fire Brigade would like to advise the Fire Danger Period has commenced as of Monday 18th December, 2017 until 1st May 2018.

On Friday October 27 at 2:33 PM our crews responded to a fire on Glen Shian Crescent at Mount Eliza. On arrival we found a large two-storey shed fully involved in fire.
Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Open Air Burning Local Law regulates burning off outside of the Declared Fire Danger Period. As per previous years, restrictions will be eased during the month of October 2017 to enable landowners on smaller properties to burn off for fire prevention purposes.
